KETV Interview Rehersal with Dr. Lee Simmons

This film is footage of KETV (Omaha's ABC-affiliated television station) for their 1993 interview of Dr. Lee G. Simmons from Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo. Topics addressed include ISIS (International Species Information System), plus the Studbook program and its development. Included is footage of an unknown individual posing questions to Dr. Simmons and Dr. (Tom) Foose. Questions about Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS) software, the Studbook program, and the 1993 American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums (AAZPA) annual conference held in Omaha, Nebraska (now known as the "Association of Zoos and Aquariums" or "AZA" since 1994).
