Happy Hollow, Dundee and Fairacres [map]

Abstract/Description: A color map of Happy Hollow, Dundee, and Fairacres, Omaha. Published by George & Company, Agents, City National Bank Building, Omaha. The publication date is not printed on the map, but "June 1915" is handwritten in the margin in the lower right corner. The map has been marked with handwritten annotations in black ink and in red, green, and blue pencil. Some blank areas (presumably open fields at the time the map was printed) are outlined in red pencil and marked with dates--1921, 1923, 1924, and 1925, presumably indicating the years in which these areas were developed. Blue pencil markings indicate the location of the Municipal University of Omaha, which post-dates the map's printing. A new street--J. E. George Blvd.--is drawn on with blue pencil. Other notes and markings are present on the map which are not listed here. The area depicted on the map is bounded by 49th Street on the east, 72nd Street on the west, Charles Street on the north, and Howard Street on the south.
