Abstract/Description: This scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, correspondence, "Notice to Registrant to Appear for Physical Examination" and "Notice if Classification" sent to Sherwood M. Croghan, portraits of Sherwood M. Croghan, photographs, postcards, Japanese Ten Pesos and Five Centavos currencies for the Philippine Islands Occupation, Nederlands Indie One Gulden currency circulated Banknotes Nederlandsch Indie, and a membership card of Guam Square & Compass Club issued on June 22, 1945. Titles of the newspaper clippings include: "Maurice Croghan Joins U.S. Coast Guard Service," "Describes Living Conditions on Luzon Island," "Our Boys in U.S. Armed Service," and "Letter Travels Far Ends Up in Walnut."
