Photographed by Walter and Myrna Berlet, Bob Landis, and Allen King at locations in Banff National Park, Glacier National Park, Jasper National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. Owned and presented by the Film Department of the Omaha Public Library. This film provides a glimpse at the life of the Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep spanning four seasons, beginning with the birth of a lamb in late May. Sweeping vistas and intimate footage of the bighorn are captivating. The film includes the information (narration) and footage of bighorn ewes with large nursery bands, their preditors and neighbors, grazing, play, social development, physical changes from maturation as well as adaptation.
