Abstract/Description: Unpublished description of some aspects of community life in the northern area of Omaha Nebraska prior to 1937. The document references the Easter tornado of 1913 and the devastion inflicted on the Idlewild recreation area. Also mentioned in the article are Rev. John S. Williams (pastor of Hillside Presbyterian Church) and Dan Desdunes (well known band leader who died April 24, 1929).
